![]() ![]() But sprinkled in are rich stories that remind us of the true meaning of Christmas. ![]() I think it’s important that they get to have fun with the holiday season as well, which is why you’ll find lots of “fluff” books in our Christmas book basket too! Fancy Nancy, Little Blue Truck and Splatt the Cat all have Christmas books that made the basket. ![]() Books are such an easy and meaningful way to do this. My main priority as we prepare for Christmas is to both remember why we celebrate and make sure my kids have a strong understand as well. Most days, our playroom floor looks something like this and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Without fail, they are always so excited by the “new” collection of books to read. Normally, I pull the basket out after the kids go to bed one night after Thanksgiving so they are surprised by it in the morning. To keep them special, they are all in a basket that only comes out this time of year. It really is the most wonderful time of the year and one of my favorite traditions is bringing out our basket of Christmas Books! Over the past few years, we have amassed quite the collection of Christmas themed books. ![]()
